Remember this guy? I've never done anything more with him, but I think the 3dC is going to inspire me to concrete and mosaic him.   I've already named him because the plan is to do him all in blues. |

Oh, He's so great, Ronnie! I love him. Does he stand up on his own, or is he attached to a base? The piece I hope to enter is also made of lath (or is it lathe?). "She" (Ethel) is already covered in concrete, but she needs extra work, and her base is really a mess. I need to figure out what to do about that. She's been sitting in the basement long enough (2.5 years I think!!) Let's encourage each other to get these babies done.  |

I've always wondered about 'creting him...legs first, or body first? I think legs, let them cure, then they can hold up his body? I really don't know though! Lori, he won't be solid blue. I've been collecting various blues for him, including some patterns. We'll see how it goes!

Oh my goodness Ronnie! I love it when I can watch other people do amazing projects that I would never have the courage to do. That is part of what makes this site rock. Will this be a keeper or a selling item?
