After the mosaic dry spell otherwise known as the holiday season, I am mosaicing again.  But I can't show anything because I'm working on my 'make 5' x2 projects.  I'm on my 3rd, so it's a real good thing we have 3 months.   Smiley

I have a project in my head that I really really want to do.  I want to make a door crown for the archway between the livingroon and the kitchen.  It will be on the livingroom side and will feature paisley(s).  I can't draw a stick man, but my hubby can and said he will help me.  I haven't worked out dimensions or anything...it will be fun, interesting and hopefully as beautiful as I'm imagining.

If anyone has any good paisley images they could send me that would be great.  Here's one I found that I fell in love with.  It's called a Mankolam , and it's about halfway down the page on this site of Eastern Religious symbols.

Glad you are doing better (I hope!) and that you are mosaicing again. I love those paisleys...I think this will be awesome when you get it done.

lol That is a pretty beefy link, isn't it?  I do like the paisley.  I have to do the tracing thing, so I completely understand.

Those are some great symbols....I see mosaic potential in a lot of them....
I'm like you, can't draw a darn thing...BUT next week I start a class at the community college called: "Yes! You Can Draw!".  I think I will be quite the challenging student for that optimistic teacher!  lol
